Governance

A governance layer for your security information

Data you cannot trust is data you cannot govern by. Helios places a governance layer on top of the connected model, so critical information stays accurate, controlled and auditable.

Attribute approval

Changes to important attribute values can be caught and routed through approval processes — the right person accepts or rejects the change before it takes effect. Your organization decides which attributes are critical enough to gate.

Processes and workflows

Helios supports custom processes for creating information objects and enriching data — simple workflows configured to your way of working, not a fixed vendor process.

A complete audit trail

Every change in Helios — imported, entered or approved — is recorded in a complete, object-level audit trail. You can always answer what changed, when, by whom, and on which authority. Evidence for auditors is a query, not an archaeology project.

Policy-based access to the data itself

The information in Helios is protected by policy-based authorization: who may see or change what is decided by policy, against the same connected attributes the platform governs. Governance data is security-classified data — it is governed accordingly.

Analytics

Built-in analytics display your information as dynamic graphs, let you ask questions of the data and explore it — so governance is something you can see, not just assert.
